About David Pickard

Worked 36 years in various capacities for the City of Tampa Wastewater Department and have worked with Premier Magnesia since 2006 representing the Thioguard Division. Also worked as a consultant to the City of Tampa and Severn Trent Services. While at the City of Tampa, I managed the 96 MGD Howard F. Curren Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, 220 pumping stations and 3 laboratories. Directed operation of the City of Tampa Indirect Potable Reuse Pilot Plant. Florida Water Environment Association - Served as President, Treasurer, National WEF Director Awards: Hatfield Award, Bedell Award, Quarter Century Operators Award, Florida Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers, National Boy Scout Jamboree WEF exhibit recognition. Florida Water Environment Association Utility Council - One of the organizing founders of the Florida Water Environment Association Utility Council and served as Secretary Treasurer. FWPCOA - Served as Region XII Chairman, Secretary and member since 1973 AMSA - Served as City of Tampa Representative to the Organization Hillsborough Community College - Instructor for the Class C license course.
