About David Pickard

Mr. Pickard has thirty years’ experience maintaining computer systems and peripherals. This last year he has been employed as a contracted employee for the County of Kaua'i. He has been working primarily with the Kaua'i Police Department rolling out the MDT laptops to officers in the field and coordinating the RMS transition from Denali/InPursuit to TriTech/VisionAir. He has also worked as general helpdesk support work the whole county. For the previous seven years he had successfully run his own business, Kaua'i Computer Solutions, covering the island of Kauai. Prior to Kauai Computer Solutions, he completed a one year contract in Baghdad, Iraq as Helpdesk manager and Second Level Support Technician. Before his year out of the country, he was working at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as an Associate System Administrator providing hardware and software support. His initial training and experience was with Wang Laboratories working on large VS systems, Wangnet WAN, Jukebox Storage, high voltage UPS, disk drives, and a wide range of printers. Mr. Pickard also has extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing servers, desktops, and laptops on both hardware and software levels. He has Dell DCSE certification on all Dell servers, laptops, desktops, power workstations and printers. Among Mr. Pickard certifications are Cisco CCNA (expired), CompTIA A+, Dell DCSE, Sony certification, Lexmark certification, and Novell CNE certifications. His extensive training and experience has given him excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. David Pickard last had SECRET clearance for work at government installations and secure sites in 2005.
