Six months after I graduated from high school I developed a blood dis-order. 90% of my white blood cells were dead. I was as close to being dead as one could be, without truly being dead. After spending a week in the hospital I was released. The Dr.'s said there are no drugs that will help you. Eat a lot and try to be well. The wellness part really struck a chord. This was about 45 years ago and my quest for wellness still remains. I incorporated some wellness concepts shortly after I was discharged from the hospital: Eating healthy, mostly natural foods, I was exercising, I was also praying, meditating and fasting.
