As a technology entrepreneur, I have always focused on the customer problem. I have built technology companies with a focus on designing technology that makes customer lives easier, integrating valuable technology experiences into their everyday lives. My curiosity about the customer problem creates growth opportunities that are unlocked by my team working in an agile rhythm to unlock the value in complex situations. I have applied these skills in start-up, scale-up and £Bn companies. One of my passions is as a fitness coach and referee at our local rugby club. This is where my skills as motivator, mediator and problem solver are tried and tested across all age groups. My background in rowing and competitive sports taught me what discipline and commitment looks like and what is required to deliver high performance. The most important lesson is that whether it is technical detail in the sporting or business environment people only learn and grow when it is a fun and challenging team environment, this is the real key to unlocking success.
