Educator | Leader | Advocate | Advisor | Mentor These are just a few of the words that describe a career in student leadership and engagement - a field that really doesn't lend itself to a simple definition. For more than a decade, I built short- and long-term programs around the goal of helping students become effective leaders and - more importantly - effective people. This could manifest as series of workshops, building and training symbiotic teams, hosting events to serve the holistic person, or having direct conversations about the alignment of priorities and actions. I was simultaneously immersing students in personal and leadership development while growing and exercising my own. After assessing my environment, I would design and implement programs that worked within the existing organization in order to move the needle. My programs consistently exceeded expectations, seeing atypical growth and garnering increased investment from the campus communities. Since leaving higher ed, I have applied my broad experience to help develop and grow everything from startup volunteer communities to helping launch the rebranding and new future of global brands.
