About David Primack

Trained in international and development economics, I've spent the past 25 years providing strategic advice, research, and training to governments, the private sector, civil society and a host of regional and international organizations on issues at the intersection of trade policy, negotiations, domestic regulations, and economic development. This includes over 15 years working on services trade in Africa in the areas of policy-making and negotiations, regulatory reform, private sector development, regional integration, and sector strategy development. Currently working for the Ontario government on interprovincial trade policy and regulatory cooperation. Core skills include research and analysis, training, dialogue facilitation, stakeholder engagement and consensus-building, project and strategy design/implementation, organizational strategy and institutional management, and communications. Geographic focus includes Canada, Ontario, the U.S, sub-Saharan Africa (Anglophone and Francophone), and the Pacific.
