About David Puth

David Puth is the Vice Chairman of North America for Partners Capital. Partners is an Outsourced Investment Office acting for distinguished endowments and foundations, senior investment professionals and prominent families around the globe. He is also an independent Senior Advisor at Deloitte where he advises clients and partners in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory, Enterprise Trust and Digital Asset practices. David Puth was previously a Senior Advisor at Circle, which helps businesses and developers harness the power of stablecoins for payments and internet commerce worldwide. Prior to joining Circle, he was the CEO of Centre, which governed the technology, policy, compliance, audit and reserve standards for USD Coin (USDC), the most trusted dollar-based digital currency in the world. Centre was founded by Coinbase and Circle to create a global network of interoperable stablecoins built to the standards that underpinned USDC. From 2012 through 2018 Mr. Puth was the CEO of CLS Group, a designated Systemically Important Financial Market Utility and the world’s leading provider of risk management and operational solutions to the global foreign exchange market. Mr. Puth spent 19 years at J.P. Morgan where he served in a variety of senior global leadership roles with oversight of the bank’s interest rate derivatives, FX, commodities and emerging markets businesses. He also served as a member of the JPMorgan Chase Executive Committee and the Investment Bank Management Committee. He also led the Global Markets businesses at State Street Bank in Boston which included the world's leading Securities Lending business, the global Foreign Exchange, equities and transition management businesses. He served on the boards of directors of The CME Group in Chicago and ICAP, a London based public company financial services firm. Since 1998, Mr. Puth has been a member of the board of the Robin Hood Foundation in New York and is a long-standing board member of the Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston. He is a graduate of Tufts University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
