Background
About David R. Lemons
Senior geologist with over 20 years of experience in the petroleum industry. I have been fortunate to work for companies ranging in size from multi-national to small independents. I have added more than 50 BCF and 25 MMBO of proved reserves and increased daily production by over 20 MMCFD and BOPD. While at Exxon, I was Safety Leader. I posses expert skills in stratigraphy/sequence stratigraphy, clastic/carbonate depositional systems, and reservoir characterization. I enjoy significant experience in seismic, petrophysics, production, exploration, and operations. ExxonMobil recognized me as an "expert" in Mature Field Development. I was also "recognized" for sequence stratigraphic and formation evaluation skills. I have had the opportunity to work closely with all types of engineering and land. I have mapped on production to regional scales and helped create 3-D dynamic models in difficult production settings such as tertiary recovery. I have a doctorate degree, completed a significant amount of geologic outdoor fieldwork, and am well published.
