I started my post college working career as a diesel service tech working on everything from heavy construction equipment, semi tractors, trailers, cars and trucks, down to small engines. Although I loved working on equipment I had an opportunity to become an outside sales rep selling semi truck and trailer parts. It didn't take me long to learn that sharing my knowledge and building relationships with businesses and people was where I was meant to be. After 5 years selling truck parts I had an opportunity to sell fasteners and shop supplies with Wisconsin Fastener Supply. With WFS I able to spread my wings so to say, and sell to many industries including the trucking customers I was already engaged in business with. January of 2016 I had the opportunity to take a position with PetroChoice Lubrication Solutions as a territory sales manager. In June of 2018 due to a consolidation where PetroChoice sold their Milwaukee division to Perkins Oil Company, I continued to sell lubricants. On December 1st 2021 Perkins Oil joined forces with Halron Lubricants when Halron acquired Perkins Oil. My roll with Halron Lubricants was territory sales representative with Halron Lubricants South Division, where I continued to service my customers lubrication needs in NE Wisconsin. On November 1st, 2022 another opportunity came for me to join Great Lakes Manufacturing, Inc. as their Product Director. Great Lakes MFG was established in 1980 and is a custom trailer builder, specializing on the logging, refuse, & material handling industries. In my Product Director roll I will continue to be a product sales consultant along with overseeing our procurement department while working closely with our manufacturing team as we take drawings to reality. I look forward to helping pair our customers up with innovative trailer solutions along with strengthening relationships with our suppliers to ensure our fabricators and assemblers have the right components when and where they need them. In sales I have found that the customer can sniff out an impostor fairly quick, and they demand a competent person with a working knowledge of what it is that they do. I am a hands-on kind of guy, I will roll my sleeves up and get dirty when asked to.no joke! I have learned many lessons as a salesman but the most important lesson would have to be to only sell products and supplies that I truly believe in. My customers are looking for quality and dependability in the products I sell and I'm not looking to let them down.
