About David Riolo

Mr. Riolo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997 from New Jersey Institute of Technology. During his 20 year career in the Pharmaceutical business, Mr. Riolo amassed extensive experience in various positions of increasing responsibilities. His skills include many key product initiatives, manufacturing projects and product launches; strong knowledge in packaging equipment installation, commissioning and qualification. Mr. Riolo also has vast experience in production planning, managing multiple pharma products for both Rx and Healthcare demands. His experience and knowledge covers various aspects of GMP requirements and FDA regulations. Mr. Riolo also has experience managing numerous vendor contracts, as well as managing multiple Facility Maintenance Departments; overseeing large salaried and unionized workforces at several NJ based Merck facilities: Kenilworth, Roseland, Springfield, Berkeley Heights, including an animal research facility in Lafayette, NJ. In 2010, Mr. Riolo also ran as Merck’s Department Head for the Facilities Infrastructure Engineering Department in Rahway NJ. In 2011, Mr. Riolo joined the JLL team, under the Life Sciences Division, and as the Senior Regional Manager working in collaboration with Merck’s Integrated Facility Maintenance teams at two of their mega-sites; Rahway, a research-focused office campus, and Kenilworth, Merck’s Global Headquarters. In 2016 Mr. Riolo achieved his Associate Director Officer level with JLL and in 2017 led the Merck MMD quality sites in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Miami Lakes. August 2017 Mr. Riolo transitioned over to the Becton Dickinson Account as the Director of Engineering and as of January 2019 was promoted to Account Lead managing 50 sites across North America, Latin America and Asia for Becton Dickinson under JLL's Life Science Division covering the Integrated Facility Management Service Team.
