About David Rynders

Mr. Rynders is an experienced senior leader (retired Army Lieutenant Colonel), a Certified Health Physicist (CHP), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has 30 years of progressive experience including: Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Radiation Safety Officer, Radiological Control Director at Idaho National Laboratory, and Associate Director of Research Safety (radiation, biosafety and chemical safety) at Cornell University. He currently serves at the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority. He possess those intangible traits of: discipline, commitment, loyalty, resourcefulness, and respect for authority. Effective with small (3) to large (100+) sized teams across diverse skill levels and backgrounds. He has a proven track record of teaching leadership skills and mindsets. He develops both formal and informal leaders which creates real advantages to the organization.
