I have 30+ years experience as a programmer/analyst. I am fluent in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET and Visual Studio. I am a client-server specialist (where a majority of my experience lies) and love to create integrations to save the company time and money. I am very capable of translating end user requests into actual business requirements. I have produced commercial applications from scratch all the way from designing/building through marketing and selling the products. I have extensive experience in working with customers to provide training and technical support. I am very skilled at being able to quickly see things from the users point of view. My inherent ability to put myself in the end-users seat allows me to both understand what they want and deliver what they need. My database experience is in MS SQL mostly but I also have experience in Oracle and MS Access. I am very comfortable in SQL and can design and build databases including stored procedures, triggers, views, database maintenance plans, performance tuning, etc. I welcome the opportunity to learn new technologies.
