About David Schuette

David is a multi-disciplined business professional with experience in consulting, corporate finance, strategy, business operations, and marketing. His career spans the retail, agency, and management consulting sectors. He is driven by a passion for delivering results at innovative companies. David is currently working at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm that advises executives across various industries. After several years of client-facing work, he jumped at the opportunity to help Bain innovate across its core products. He helped establish Bain's first centralized innovation capability and served as the portfolio manager. After two years, David was tapped to lead Strategy & Business Operations for Bain's internal software development group, Next Gen Software Solutions. Previously, David was a senior digital analyst at Catalyst, a direct and digital marketing agency, a website analyst at Lands’ End, and the Founder of Roll On 2 Media, a DVD re-distributor that sold through eBay. He has also completed freelance analytics work for a top 10 MBA program and several eCommerce start-ups. David holds an MBA from Johnson at Cornell University, where he graduated with honors (top 10%), and a BBA in business operations from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He was an enthusiastic contributor while at Johnson, holding positions in the Consulting Club and Student Council, as well as volunteering as a Career Workgroup Leader, Admissions Ambassador, and Student Blogger. David was recognized as one of the top “30 under 30” by DM News in 2011 and has published articles on Adage.com and CMO.com. David has completed the Madison City Marathon and has a collection of over 75 board games. He is a native Wisconsinite and currently resides in Chicago.
