About David Schulte

Mr. Schulte has more than 25 years of experience in gas processing and gas treating covering all phases of project execution including feasibility studies, front-end engineering, detailed design, commissioning, and troubleshooting – for both revamps and grass-root facilities. In his current position at Oxy Low Carbon Ventures (OLCV), he is responsible for projects related to Occidental’s equity investment in NET Power and Carbon Engineering. Prior to joining OLCV, he led Fluor’s center of excellence for Gas Processing and managed Fluor’s portfolio of licensed gas processing technologies. Mr. Schulte served as the Process Director, Technical Director, and Project Manager on several multi-billion dollar projects for major gas developments. Mr. Schulte’s experience includes supervision of engineers and designers, scope preparation, manpower estimation, project scheduling, development of technical deliverables, licensor interface and management, participating in process hazard, environmental, and risk reviews, cost estimates, economic analysis, and plant start-up.
