David has left the world of full-time employment, and is enjoying life. David's expertise includes room acoustics design, sound isolation, and noise and vibration reduction of building systems. Projects ranged from comprehensive consulting on design and construction to peer review, feasibility studies, and facility programming. Consulting projects included: Film screening theaters for the Television Academy, DreamWorks, Pixar, Letterman Digital Arts Center; Music performance and rehearsal facilities for the Music Associates of Aspen, Freight & Salvage, Grammy Museum, Colburn School of Performing Arts, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Harris Concert Hall, and the California Theater for the San Jose Opera. Post-production facilities such as Technicolor at Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Fox Studios, Skywalker Ranch. Theatres such as the Berkeley Repertory Theater, Rothenberg Hall, and the Bankhead. Broadcast facilities include Network Centers for Fox and Turner, and numerous local affiliates Other interesting projects include: anechoic chambers, the Walt Disney family museum, Genentech's offices, Salesforce offices. Professional Accomplishments: 2018 Samuel L. Warner Medal of The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, The Audio Engineering Society and the Acoustical Society of America have elected him a Fellow for his contributions to architectural acoustics.
