About David Scott

Ever since I was a child, I have always had an interest in making video games and programs that people could interact with. My first experience of programming was when I discovered Adobe Flash where I could make simple animations and from there in my early secondary school years, I started to use ActionScript to create functional programs using flash with simple button events making an animation start. As time went on I would gradually increase the complexity of what I made, such as a simple game that could make stick figures move. I also found a passion for creating dummy websites at the time using HTML, which I would use to create lots of fake websites whether it was to satisfy a creative urge I had, or just to create a website that I could send to friends. For the rest of my secondary school, I pursued other interests but never lost my passion for computing.Eventually, I went to college and renewed my passion for programming where I learned Java and began learning many of the fundamental coding functions. Moving onto to university, my knowledge of these were built upon and with each new week it felt as if I was uncovering new ways in which I could satisfy my passion for programming.Much of my life now revolves around using software on my computer, and even when I just buy a new game I won't be able to keep my coding centric mind from trying to peer into the code files available to see what makes it tick.
