About David Scott

I am a highly motivated, results-oriented, and creative individual with a passion for digital marketing and marketing analytics. As a recent graduate from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Film & Media Arts, I am fascinated with how marketing analytics can be combined with creative-thinking and project management to create value and drive business. My greatest skills are marketing strategy, data analysis, project management, leadership, and communication. These skills have allowed me to be successful in a variety of positions including Marketing Intern at Run For The Cure Japan (RFTC Japan), Creative Director at Cherry Consulting, Treasurer / Executive Producer at Wandering Studios, Peer Teacher / Marketing Tutor for Temple's Marketing Research Class, and Resident Assistant at Temple University. My most recent experience gave me the chance to study abroad in Japan and work as a Marketing Intern for RFTC Japan, a breast-cancer non-profit. In this role, I established relationships with new sponsors while also communicating with existing sponsors to maintain their support for the upcoming Pink Ball, RFTC Japan's largest fundraiser of the year. Moreover, while working on the Pink Ball, I was able to balance numerous other projects, which included successfully creating the proposal for relaunching the company’s Amazon page, assisting in the development of new pricing strategies for the company’s future events and e-commerce products, and conducting market research through creating and analyzing surveys. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Business Intelligence & Analytics at Saint Joseph's University to expand upon my analytics skills I developed during my undergrad education. I am also now looking for a internship or full-time in the marketing or data analytics industry where I can leverage my analysis, leadership, project management, and communication skills to help contribute to a business while continuing to learn and develop my skills.
