Retired! My name is Captain David Seybert. I was a (32) thirty-two year veteran with the Des Moines Police Department. I am highly trained and served in many capacities during my tenure as an officer and supervisor. As a Captain, I was assigned to the Office of Professional Standards (Internal Affairs). My first assignment as a Captain was leading midnight patrol. I ended my career leading day patrol.
