I work as a Research Engineer in the Department of Biomechanical Engineering at Hospital for Special Surgery. My primary project is designing a device that measures laxity properties of a patient's knee joint. In testing healthy, pathological, and post-operative joints of patients in the Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty services, we are collecting data that will improve our understanding of joint stability, and ultimately, inform surgical decision-making. I completed my B.S. and M. Eng. in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University with an undergraduate concentration in Biomechanics and Mechanobiology and minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship.
