I have directed the operation of multiple service, parts and body shop departments. Led and trained service advisors in front line customer service, Assisted with pre-diagnosis, and identified customer concerns and ensured communication to shop tech, created and implemented a variety of dispatch, shop flow control, preliminary and post repair quality control road tests systems and controls along with and anything else necessary to address customer needs. While this may not seem like it on the surface these operations all require computer skills such as MS Office, use of technical online support systems, use of online ordering and inventory control of parts and supplies from multiple vendors, customer communication utilizing social media, smart phone, text along with traditional face to face, person to person contacts. Along with parts and service direction I have also led and managed body shop operations including insurance estimating, insurance negotiations and body shop controls for production P&L etc. Other business responsibilities have included but not limited to, Key holder, open and closing, cash balance and deposit, daily sales and promotional sales reporting, profit and loss accountability, recruitment, training, and maintaining personnel, supply chains follow up and control, point of purchase displays, overseeing technician and shop productivity, job estimating, controlling work flow and project scheduling.
