Deputy Dean Research Operations - Faculty of Medicine and Health - UNSW Sydney deputy Head of School - School of Health Sciences - UNSW Sydney Research program focuses on the investigation long-term complications of cancer and the therapeutic effect of exercise in paediatric adults and populations. Using a translational approach ranging from cellular models to animal and human studies, I aim to improve the early detection of survivors at risk and to inform therapeutic practices to improve health outcomes for cancer survivors. I also investigates the preventive and protective role of exercise in the context of paediatric chronic conditions. Research methods includes animal models, cell culture, flow cytometry, molecular biology and biochemistry. Research projects available to Honours, Masters or PhD students.
