About David Smrek

How lucky am I? I have spent a career working in Live Events - where by definition the industry brings joy and excitement to customers. Primarily this has been working in sports, which is simply my passion. But perhaps best of all, I have been consistently blessed to work alongside some of the most interesting, generous, intelligent and fun co-workers, who never fail to amaze, entertain and educate me. Working first with sports organizations and then later assisting those same organizations as a service provider, the common thread among my experiences has been launching ideas through collaboration. Whether starting professional sports franchises, expanding amateur sport offerings or developing new services and concepts – I thrive the most when there is unmet market need and the potential to address that need with a new solution. Not always easy, but most certainly always a challenging and enjoyable ride.
