As a teen, he suffered from the embarrassment of stuttered speech and not having the ability to read and write. In the tenth grade, he was diagnosed with Dyslexia and as a consequence, he produced a hidden addiction to alcohol and later suffered from depression and the will to move forward. He credits his solid belief in God and a supportive family for his astonishing transformation from troubled, alcohol addicted and academically challenged teen to one of the most driven, sought after and devoted advocate for today’s youth. Since 1991, David has traveled the U.S. presenting to thousands of adolescents, conducting focus groups, assisting parents and youth in discovering their greater power within.
