About David Stewart

I spent the a large portion of my early career focused on both the sales and finance side of the automotive industry. Acquiring skills and learning functionality in ADP, Reynolds and Reynolds, and MasterTech services. While in the automotive industry, I learned a large number of non technical skills along the way. Learning how to connect with people on both a personal and professional level is a skill that can go overlooked, but it is a skill I found worthy of honing in on. The second half of my career was spent in manufacturing. Specifically for Bridgestone North America. I worked with both large and small teams in various parts of the manufacturing process within the TBR (truck, bus, radial) facility. I worked daily one on one with other team mates to achieve our daily quota. I also was responsible for interacting daily with their intranet and its SAP infrastructure. I decided to switch paths into the field I'm passionate about, and enrolled in Nashville Software School. I expanded my knowledge of multiple computer languages and tools. Javascript(JS), React, HTML, C#, C++, CSS were all part of my curriculum there. I had coupled that knowledge with my previous knowledge of computer hardware to develop an exciting set of skills for my next employer in HCA Healthcare. I started my career at HCA working with the Power BI Tools and Platforms team. There I learned advanced skills in Power BI, Power SQL Queries, DAX statements, and more. I was given the opportunity to learn and grow. Eventually taking lead on a project for our emergency management system. This application allows our CEOs and directors to visualize our facilities nationwide along with their individual data points and their footprint geographically. I enjoy taking on large projects and leading my team and company into the future.
