About David Strieder
Mathematician with a strong focus on statistics and a particular interest in causal inference and machine learning. Passionate about applying mathematical rigor to real-world data problems to provide explainable and reliable insights. Currently completing my PhD at TUM and MCML, where my research explores how to incorporate uncertainty into causal effect estimation in complex systems where the causal structure must itself be learned from data. Along the way, I have published on topics in statistical inference and causality, presented at international conferences, and contributed to teaching and student supervision within the mathematical statistics group. Starting this fall, I am looking for a new challenge where I can continue to learn, contribute, and apply my skills in meaningful ways.
