About David Suzuki

David Suzuki is a bilingual/bicultural talent acquisition executive with 20 years of recruitment leadership experience in Japan. In 2020, started new role as Head of Talent Acquisition at IBM Japan. Most recently was the Director of Talent Advisory for Oracle Corporation Japan where he worked for seven years to lead the in-house recruiting team in all external recruitment activities by executing on “Direct Recruiting Model” best practices and methodologies. He joined The Ingenium Group in 2009 as the Vice President of the Technology Practice where during his four years there his mission was to execute senior-level executive searches, identifying and evaluating regional heads, sales/marketing leadership, and technical management/specialists. His valued clientele within this industry include Fortune 500 market leaders that continue to expand business in Japan, as well as Silicon Valley or venture start-ups interested in Japan market-entry. Prior to working at Ingenium, David was a Partner at Access Technology, managing the Infrastructure and Technology practice. Over his nine year career with Access Technology, David specialized in searches focused in the infrastructure hardware/software, networking, security, internet and communications sectors. Born and raised in Canada, David is a second generation Japanese-Canadian, and has obtained a BA from McGill University.
