About David Tanenbaum

David is an attorney and trade consultant with more than 25 years of experience in international trade, investment and policy gained through work in private law firms, government, multilateral organizations, as well as through many years as an independent consultant. He has worked extensively in many parts of the world, including North, East and West Africa, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, North and Central America, Europe, the former Soviet Union and China. His experience includes positions in government, private industry, and international organizations. He has represented and advised clients on all aspects of trade, law and policy, specializing in customs, regional integration, food security and trade remedies. Mr. Tanenbaum has recently advised the governments of Ukraine and Maldives on legal and regulatory reforms and Seychelles, Ethiopia and Azerbaijan on legislation required to ensure harmonization upon accession to the WTO. He has delivered training to participants from more than 30 countries.
