About David Tillery

Email: david.w.tillery.93@gmail.comWith a Master's degree in Physical Engineering Science, I've had the opportunity to deeply explore the connection between practical engineering and complex math problems. This journey sparked my interest in using machine learning algorithms and code to tackle tough differential equations. My background in engineering is wide-ranging, acoustics, covering automation, mechatronics, numerics, data science, acoustics, CAD, project management, and systems engineering. I've worked hard in many internships and roles within both industry and research settings, often researching and creating solutions for complicated problems.Outside of my work in engineering, I'm very interested in nutrition and personal development. I've added a feature to my webpage that lets me track my focus, energy, and what I eat to understand how these things affect my productivity. Everyone is welcome to use this tool.Currently, I'm working on a trading bot project. It uses a deep Q-learning algorithm to trade stocks. This project has helped me learn more about cloud computing, as I'm hosting the entire website on AWS.Being someone who loves fitness and has spent two years working with computer vision algorithms, I'm planning to develop an app that tracks my workouts automatically. It will record exercises like pushups and chin-ups, saving this information in a database. This data, combined with details about my mental state and diet, will help me understand and improve myself more fully.Besides my focus on solving tough engineering problems for personal growth, I also have a love for the arts. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and making music. This blend of engineering and art helps keep my life balanced and interesting. As I look to the future, I'm actively searching for new and interesting opportunities. Whether it's making a big impact, leading teams, or solving difficult problems, I'm excited for what's coming next.
