About David Tomecek

I am a researcher with 10-year experience in the field chemical sensors research and development. I have a baccalaureate from Chemistry, master degree from Sensorics and Cybernetics in Chemistry and PhD in Technical cybernetics (University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague). In my research during the master and PhD period, I have first focused on the development of nanostructured chemiresistors for the detection of explosive taggants. These sensors were then used for the indirect detection of 2 selected explosive taggants via released NO2. The subsequent investigation was focused on measurement acceleration and sensor stability improvement via photoregeneration. Then I moved to Sweden and participated in the research of nanoplasmonic sensors of hydrogen as a postdoc (Chalmers University of Technology, Langhammer Lab) Now I am working at Insplorion AB as a research and development engineer on the development of hydrogen sensors.
