About David Tomlinson

I bring over two decades of leadership and operational experience across the Department of Defense and the defense industry, with a focus on solving complex problems, building high-performing teams, and delivering capability to the warfighter. My background spans program management, requirements development, acquisitions, government contracting, and business development within the military technology sector. I have extensive experience working across the DoD enterprise—connecting operators, engineers, and industry partners to develop and field effective solutions that improve training, readiness, and operational capability.Throughout my career I have worked closely with senior leaders across the Department of Defense and Federal Government, providing informed guidance on emerging technologies, program strategy, and capability integration.I retired from the United States Marine Corps after 26 years of service as an Infantry Weapons Officer (Marine Gunner), where I focused on weapons employment, training modernization, and capability development for the operating forces.Today I continue that mission in industry, working to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and the needs of the warfighter.
