I am David Townsend, a certified RN with 20 years in the Healthcare and higher education industry and a proven history of delivering significant contributions. I possess demonstrated ability to implement streamlined business systems that contain costs and deliver profitable results. My personality, business acumen, diligence and quality make me an asset to any organization. I currently work as the Sepsis Coordinator at Orlando Health- ORMC, where I facilitate patient care and impact quality efforts as related to sepsis care. A significant aspect of my work involves data analysis and key performance improvement initiatives to meet target organizational goals. I report directly to the Corporate Leadership Team, Chief Quality Officer. I am well versed in ethical and medical legal matters pertaining to nurses and patients, I have earned my master’s degree in healthcare system management from Loyola University, possess proven experience in leadership, data analysis & analytics, overseeing process improvement, managing human resources and financial resources. Am purposeful, possess excellent interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills, I can develop presentations using visual data and graphs to represent results to groups with varied needs. My greatest strength is my ability to quickly identify the needs of a system, plan effectively, and mobilize all team resources whilst at the same time building strong internal and external working relationships with colleagues and partners. As a leader I have helped others develop beyond their weaknesses, my leadership style and skills are ones that command respect yet keep me approachable.
