About David Trask

I am driven to find new war fighting and intelligence capabilities. It's something I have done since my introduction 45 years ago to electronic warfare and its intimate connection to intelligence collection. I served as the MASINT Chair, Deputy Director of the Remote Sensing Center, and as a member of the Space Systems Academic Group. In addition, I was funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to lead a comprehensive research program at the NPS to explore the operational concepts applicable to the first-of-class fully autonomous vessel, SEA HUNTER. This multi-year effort will explore its capability to support antisubmarine warfare (ASW), mine counter-measures (MCN), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), Electronic Warfare (EW) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, most importantly, documenting the many considerations necessary to acquire, deploy and operate ships of this type throughout the world.
