About David Trotter
Exercise prescription is my passion, with over programs, thousands of kg’s lost and happy clients, with almost 30 years of experience. I have now fulfilled my dream of opening an Exercise Physiology clinic. I began my exercise prescription career in the early 90’s as a gym instructor. I quickly realise that I found great joy helping people with injury and a variety of medical conditions. I have worked with athletes, both able and disabled, young people, older people and all manner of injury rehabilitation issues and conditions. I draw on my extensive experience of business with almost 20 years of being owner/ manager of Ormond Health & Fitness a health and fitness club in the southeast of Melbourne. This chapter has taken me back to University to complete my Masters of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Now as an exercise physiologist I work collaboratively in a team of allied health professionals. I find myself smiling all day. Owning your own business is the best. Now I offer other EP's the opportunity to so so too.
