About David Trussell

I am an energetic Director of Program Management with over 25 years experience in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry. Hired as an electrical engineer, I quickly rose through the ranks as a team leader, engineering manager, then director of program management leading large, complicated development projects. I have experience designing, developing, validating, and releasing game-changing new products and life-extending product features for Etch, Deposition, and Clean. I am also familiar with a wide range of critical processes including logic, 3D NAND, PCM, 3D Cross point memory, MRAM, and ReRAM. My accomplishments include- Developed and released 300mm FlexTM process module addressing critical Dielectric Etch memory and logic applications - Developed fully integrated solutions addressing emerging memories including PCM and 3D NAND - Developed and released multiple products and upgrade features for Etch, Deposition, and Clean product lines- Awarded 11 semiconductor-related patents in the areas of plasma RF sources and productivity solutions- Lead the team that developed and implemented the Product Development and Release business process at Lam Research - Developed and released the 200mm Exelan Dielectric process module - Led design and development of three surgical laser products - Certified as a Commercial pilot – flew regularly for KGO radio traffic watch from 2006 – 2009 - Volunteers weekends at Tri-City Food Bank in Fremont My skills include- Program management and team leadership - RF, AC/DC power, analog, logic electrical engineering - Business process development and implementation - Manufacturing engineering and operations management - Field service and customer support for major semiconductor manufacturers including SEC, Intel, SKhynix, TSMC, Nanya, SMIC, Toshiba, Micron, and IBM.
