About David Turner

Throughout my nearly three decades in healthcare IT, I’ve seen the problems facing physicians and their practices change dramatically. With today’s mounting operational costs, staffing difficulties, bureaucratic red tape, frivolous litigation, and inadequate EHR solutions, it’s no wonder so many medical practices are forced to sell out or shut their doors entirely. Despite these challenges, I continue to believe independent physician practices are vital to American healthcare, so I have dedicated my career to helping those practices remain successful. That goal led me to co-found BlueFish Medical, because I recognized a growing need for a firm that could blend industry expertise and software solutions with reliably professional service and customer support. Our core services are Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Industry Consulting. Many vendors in the RCM and CCM markets outsource their labor to cheaper overseas providers, causing a decline in service and efficiency. I believe a well-trained team of local professionals can provide much better results and service quality for customers. I also believe data is essential to understanding each customer’s business, but it’s not enough to compile that data in a useful format. My goal at BlueFish Medical is to help customers analyze data and trends, unpack their meaning, and ultimately use that knowledge to develop a plan to move their practice forward. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in senior-level executive roles with large businesses in the healthcare IT space. BlueFish Medical was born out of the lessons I learned along the way. The greatest satisfaction I earn through my work has always been solving customer problems and building successful teams, and I believe this venture is the ultimate opportunity to focus my experience and passion into creating measurable success for every customer.
