About David Tydeman

I have been project & turnaround focused in construction & marine manufacturing industries all my career across a wide range of businesses - from CEO of large businesses staff, £1.5bn) & SME's (50-400 staff, £50m) to smaller operations - I also created and ran a small marine start-up business which I sold a few years later and my time with Cap Gemini consultancy strengthened my strategic approach to business. I have a strong financial focus in the way I have run operations and have created many winning teams over the years. I have a global perspective having been a director/chairman of legal entities/operations in more than 20 countries around the world and whilst with Rolls-Royce (Vickers-Ulstein) Marine, I ran an after-sales, client focused business of engineers in 36 offices in 23 countries supporting equipment on ships." My non-exec experience includes Fairline Yachts, the British Marine Federation and as a Trustee for the Tall Ships Youth Trust. Through Oyster and Beneteau I created, ran and hosted major sailing events for large groups of HNWI's on their private yachts, as both event Chairman and Race Officer.
