About David Urbach

I'm passionate about guiding young children through the first few years of exciting growth and learning. Currently I'm exploring what can be done in a preschool classroom by blending ideas from different teaching methods, but I'm looking out for other opportunities to serve children with my skills. I am great at forming personal connections with young children; they see me as a warm and reasonable authority figure whom they like and trust. In addition to helping them build their academic, social, and motor skills, I am especially interested in helping children develop emotionally, creatively, and spiritually. My classroom is filled with high quality music, books, and art from a variety of styles and age levels. I also advocate for better preschools and better treatment of preschool staff. Regarding my future ambitions: My personal hobbies of writing, music, watercolor painting, and deep reading (in fiction, history, nature writing, philosophy, theology, and more) mean that I am open to many ways of serving children. I would love to publish children's books or work in a creative industry that uses the arts to really benefit children. I'm open to exploring new skills, education, and relationships to achieve this.
