About David Usher

I’m David, a boxing coach at Apollo’s Boxing and Fitness, a family-run gym based in Bolton, England.I have been involved with boxing for many years, being introduced to the sport around when I was around 10 by my older brother, and head coach at Apollo’s - Paul. My passion for boxing has now become an occupation where I can share and instruct my passion for the sport. Having achieved my diploma in Nutrition & Exercise Science, I understand the physical demands of boxing and how training can be adapted to suit individuals goals - improving physical fitness and strength, alongside aiding weight loss.Apollo’s Boxing and Fitness is a relatively new gym in the Bolton community, opening our space in July 2022.Over this time the gym and our members have collectively achieved plenty. From hosting our own amateur show, showcasing the skill set of our most dedicated athletes - to the lifestyle changes and achievements earned by members training to improve their fitness and health!Our gym is growing constantly and we invite all of the wider community to join us for a session, regardless of your goals and abilities!
