About David Vance

During my 24 years at UPS a fortune 100 company, I have spent time in Industrial Engineering Department, Human Resource Department, and Operations overseeing $250 million dollar operations. I am a trainer, coach, consular, moderator, and mentor to my employees at UPS small package. I see myself as an operator foremost, a thinker in terms of a (QVA) quality validation assessment process, a task driven person, forward thinking, a "go getter" with a "can do"​ attitude, and I pay attention to the little details for I have an eye for efficiency. I specialize in Operation Management, Project management, and IE Process Management among other management styles. I am methodical with my work, live by patience, persistence, and perspiration for success as well as the six "D's"​: desire, determination, discipline, devotion, dedication, and destiny. My work entails applying critical thinking skills to analyze business situations. I am an analytical and logic-oriented person which strengthens our critical thinking and leadership skills in today's business world. These skills help to be efficient and effective by reducing, minimizing, or eliminating excess - whether it is time, cost, or energy while maintaining good business, customer, and shareholder relationships. The motto is to implement, follow-up, and validate that the process is being used and used correctly. Making business process improvements is key to increased productivity by strengthening our critical thinking and leadership skills in today's business world.
