I'm an experienced Controller/Accountant with 5+ years of Shared Service Center background supporting every region around the world at one point, and team leader of a small team As a controller of the Fixed Assets team since 2017, I ensure that all fixed assets related transactions are recorded and reviewed in accordance with the company’s policies. I am also responsible for GL processes, such as posting recurring and ad hoc manual journals, calculating and booking accruals. I handle the monthly reconciliation of those accounts (balance sheet and expense) that are affected by fixed assets, investigate and resolve the discrepancies between subledger and general ledger, prepare the necessary closing reports, communicate and provide documents to internal auditors and tax department as well. In early 2022 I took up team leading responsibilites, such as orginasing the team’s daily tasks and responsibilities, set goals to team members and encourage efficiencies, covering all aspects of people management including recruitment, training, performance management, mental well-being management, supporting diversity and inclusion efforts. My biggest accomplishment was the coordination of the migration of the Fixed asset subledger from Mainframe to SAP platform, which was an extensive project that started in June 2021 and went live in March 2022. The project included supporting the IT development team, supporting the decision making of senior management, large-scale and comprehensive testing of maintenance and reporting functions, ensuring the completeness of the data migration, communicating the changes to all users of the subledger and providing trainings
