About David Vasquez

If there is anything I have learned over my working career its that I enjoy working in an environment with a tangible impact. My journey started at Grant Thornton where I learned a lot about data analytics and how to leverage excel to the best of my abilities. I was exposed to many different industries but my main clients were in manufacturing and real estate. After 5 years in accounting I was ready for a career change and after discussing various career paths with friends decided to take my drive and passion for the manufacturing industry to supply chain management. I began this chapter in my life at Genpact working on Kraft Heinz as a deployment analyst. Within 2 years I was able to leverage my analytical skills and excel prowess to help make a name for myself. I was able to develop an excel based system to evenly push excess product to the network reducing space constraints by 15%. I also took on an additional project to improve truck utilization across the department with two other coworkers and achieved a 2.2% utilization increase compared to the prior year resulting in 6.4mm in savings. I am excited to take my analytical, creative problem solving, and collaboration skills to a new role with new challenges.
