About David Veredas

David Veredas is Professor at Vlerick Business School, Director of Vlerick Partners, and guest professor at the University of Ghent. Prof. Veredas experience and expertise lies at the intersection of data analytics, sustainability, risk, and investments. Indeed, for more than 25, he publishes regularly on these topics in general public media, white and policy papers, as well as in international peer-review academic journals. At Vlerick Business School, Prof. Veredas directs the Center for Sustainable Finance and numerous executive programs: Asset Management, Impact Investments, and the Director Climate Journey. These activities are done in collaboration with industry partners, providing research and learning journeys that are rigorous, relevant, and with reach. Prof. Veredas has a strong social commitment as a member of the finance committee of the King Baudouin Foundation and of the investment committee of the Prince Leopold Institute of Tropical Medicine. He is also a member of the advisory board of Chapter Zero Brussels He holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Statistics from University Carlos de Madrid, and a Master and a PhD in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain. In addition, he has followed courses on Leadership and Direction and Board Effectiveness at Harvard Business School and GUBERNA.
