Conducting scientific research in the field of Robotics and Machine Learning: Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Behaviour-based Control for Social/Home Robots, Fuzzy Logic based Reinforcement Learning, Behaviour observation/evaluation for HRI, and related- Google scholar profile: - Xplore profile: - Scopus profile: Coding mainly in Python, C / C++, x86 Assembly (SIMD/AVX), MATLAB, shell scripts, but i have been exposed to many languages/environments/frameworks (e.g. Robot Operating System/ROS). Possessing 10+ years of university teaching experience, including mentoring and motivating students, organizing student teams to participate in international competitions (ASC Supercomputer Challenges), organizing events, participating in university-industry collaboration etc. Also have many years of hands-on experience with Embedded Systems / Microcontrollers and Path Planning / Motion Control used in direct control for real-world Mobile Robots. During the past two decades gathered deep knowledge on Linux OS internals, Virtualization, Data Centers (servers, networking), and Supercomputers / High-Performance Computing. From high-level task planning and decision making, through operating system internals to low-level hardware, it is all right for me. Hobbies include cycling, hiking and LaserDisc.
