Dr. David Volders is an Academic Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiologist at the Toronto Western Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Volders has developed a robust practice across the entire spectrum of Interventional Neuroradiology. His clinical expertise is complemented by his active involvement in innovative research, particularly regarding ischemic stroke. Dr. Volders is the site-PI for several international stroke trials. He is also Co-Applicant on CIHR funding totaling over $1Million. Dr. Volders has published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He has co-authored national clinical practice guidelines on stroke imaging and treatment as well as brain and spine imaging. He will also be the next co-chair of the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Guidelines.
