About David Walberg

Born in Kolkata, India, David was adopted into an American family at the age of five, and thereafter called Alaska his home. David received a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2005. After working with his family’s greenhouse business in Eagle River, David earned a Masters in Counseling/Psychology from Alaska Pacific University in 2012. Since that time, he has focused his practice on working with clients of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. David taught customer service through the Alaska Host program; he has assisted other Alaskans and Alaska organizations in the planning and promotion of cultural events. David is passionate about his Asian roots, and continues important work in uniting and promoting Asian Culture. Specifically, he helped with the creation of AAUC. He is the co-creator and vice president of the Asian American Pacific Islander Coalition of Alaska, and a board member of the Asian-Pacific-Islander Forward in Portland, Oregon
