About David Wehinm

David Wehinm is an Audio Systems Engineer, Multi-Instrumentalist and Artist Development Manager. He has worked within the music industry in the UK for a number of years. Having obtained a degree in Music Management, David worked as a freelance A&R and Artist Development Manager before taking a position at PRS for Music. He first specialised in Live Music venues before moving over to Broadcast and Online synchronisation. Returning from a tour of South America, David became head of licensing at music publisher RL Music, combining this role with developing artists and music production. Following on from this, David took a position at Syrus Consultancy as a Creative Writing Facilitator and Technical Specialist. David began a second degree as an Audio Systems Engineer, in order to develop Hardware and Software under the moniker of Twenty Base16. This coincided with him working as a Acoustician, consulting with independent studios to design, develop and manufacture Acoustic Treatment. More recently, David has been focussing on Live and Studio Engineering, doing festival work throughout the summer months and studio and production work throughout the rest of the year. Alongside this, he has also been developing an instrumental band, Maryland Station, as a Music Director and Rhythm Guitarist / Keyboardist.
