About David Weinstein

As a Product Security Analyst at Cybellum, I focus on keeping digital ecosystems secure by identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in software environments. My work involves managing SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) analysis, conducting binary file assessments, and using tools like Linux Shell, SQL, and Regex to maintain strong security standards. I work closely with vulnerability feeds like MITRE ATT & CK, NVD, and CVSS frameworks to pinpoint CVEs and other critical risks. By collaborating with development teams, I help ensure product security and implement solutions quickly and effectively. My previous experience as an ERT SOC Analyst gave me a solid foundation in SIEM systems, OWASP principles, and incident response strategies. This background helps me approach product security with a broad perspective, combining technical skills with a practical understanding of cybersecurity challenges. I’m always looking to grow, learn new tools, and stay updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity to keep making an impact in this ever-evolving field.
