Owner Manager of Knowledge Tools, LLC - In partnership with University of California, California State University and the Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project (MDTP) to provide secondary and post-secondary diagnostic math tests to schools outside of California. MDTP tests and our online testing platform give teachers an easy and quick way to test their students. Instant access to test results allow the teacher to assess their student's ability within a math subject. Teachers can then intervene, and take corrective action. A second test, post intervention, lets the teacher know whether the course correction worked. The tests also provide administrators the important data they need, whether at the school or district level, for the purposes of curriculum and placement decision making- David is also the owner of Desktop Services, Inc, the company who developed the MDTP testing platform. Made available to school in early 2017, the testing platform is in use by more that schools, and more than test have been taken by students. David is an expert level FileMaker Developer and Project Manager. Has worked in a large variety of industries and organization sizes. Experienced not only in stand-alone Client/Server FileMaker solutions, but also in pairing FileMaker and mySQL with web technologies such as PHP and Javascript. Certified in FileMaker 15, as well as versions 8, 10, 11, 13 and 14.
