Jack of all trades, master of some. I spend most of my free time as far away from computers as possible, usually in pursuit of novelty, and esoteric skills/hobbies. With over a decade of experience manipulating, maintaining, and modernizing databases in a SaaS context, I have spent the vast majority of my career in a combination IC and leadership role. Having started out in Customer Support, and incrementally upskilling into my current position, I have a deep love for the power of continuous learning and its ability to create profound opportunities for both the businesses that champion it, and the individuals who embrace it. For many years my primary focus was on reactive solutioning to address product gaps through ad hoc data manipulation and reporting. Having incrementally turned the tide and abated the need for such, I am currently focused on empowering all levels of decision makers via deliberate data democratization and analytics. I'm a classic Colorado cliché in that I hike, bike, and generally try to spend a lot of time outdoors (as noted previously). To buck the stereotype, however, I am in no way, shape, or form, involved in any snow sports or snow-related activities. Unless I have to. Which I don't. So I'm not. I joke that my hobby is hobbies, and have done a little bit of a great many things. I doggedly pursue interests, both personal and professional, and I enjoy leading teams of passionate individuals, wherever their interests lie. No matter the challenge, it can be done, and once it has been done, we can always find a way to do it better.
