My research over the past three decades has focused on the development of X-ray optics for a variety of scientific and technological applications, including astronomy, solar physics, photo-lithography, and medical imaging. I've published nearly 200 technical papers, hold 7 patents, have written IMD, widely-used software to model X-ray multilayer coatings, and co-organized the International Conference on the Physics of X-ray Multilayers held biennially from 1992 through 2010.
